Sonic and Sly: Cosplay Confusion

Just a drawing of my two favorite characters–who happen to be baffled at each other's choice of cosplay.

This is the most detailed drawing I have ever done. Sure, the Ratchet and Clank drawing took weeks, while this only took a little less than two days, but this is really one of the hardest deviations I have ever made. Thankfully, I downloaded the Sketchbook Express app to lineart, color, shade and edit the original sketch I did on my Inkflow app to shorten the time.

I pride myself on Sonic's facial expression the most. Sure, I love Sly's, but Sonic takes the cake.

And, for fun, I'll give you the reasons why I love these characters.

Sly Cooper–A true lovable rouge. He'll gladly make a heist without flinching, and he does have an occasional trick up his sleeve (such as distracting a police officer in a way that is both hilarious and somewhat disturbing), but he'll only steal from those who absolutely deserve it, and he's generally a nice guy who sees his friends and loved ones as a treasure greater than any other. And if he needs to give a helping hand of heroism along the way, he will. Even if he is a lawbreaker, Sly is anything but a bad guy.

Sonic the Hedgehog–For a lot of the same reasons as Sly, and heroism and friendship are just two of them. Always looking forward to adventure, and never staying in one place at one time, Sonic is a character a lot of people can look up to. He'll race around the world, one ring at a time, and battle against the diabolical Dr. Eggman, fighting for freedom (and chili dog lovers) everywhere.

I wait in anticipation for the next adventures of these true blue heroes.
